Find Out What Your Phone Number Spells

11 Jul, 2006 — Release

I clearly have too much time on my hands. Or so it would seem by looking at what I’ve been doing the last hour. I just got a new phone yesterday. And I was curious as to what it might spell. So I wrote up a script to show all the names your phone number could spell and picked a choice few for myself. I would post my most interesting findings here, but I already get way too many phone calls to post my new number on the Wild, Wild Web.

ok .. next . great peice of work there….. i been following most of the plugins nad stuff u create .. although some of them i cant even make em work cos i dont have that much prgmm knowledge some really cool ones are always liked. tar on this one i tried my number and a whole dump showed up … i had to search on my own for something that makes sense.

would it be possible to compare the combos with words from a dictionary.. (a database of a list of 10 letter meaningful words, 9 letter, 8 letter, so on and on.. )

@ supriya ….kharach wel waya ghalwaicha assel tar toh he warcha karel :P

  3. I agree with shailen. It would be awesome if you had an option to view all combonations, or just ones that contain a dictionary word. I didn’t take me long to find the dictionary words my phone number made, but it should be streamlined :-P

  4. I just went through my phone book and found out that I can reach my friend at the number

    HORA-DIA

A shame she doesn't speak Spanish, as “hora” is Spanish for “hour” and “día” is Spanish for “day”.

    Another friend's number translates to

    FYI-0-JEW

Great way for me to waste a class period.
