I do use beagle and I like that. Its still not as fancy as google desktop.
I was also talking about Google Talk’s linux version where you can call the users on other end.

JNetty: Multiple calendar support has not been implemented yet; :-(
Anurag: On the Mac, the features of Google Desktop are already covered by Spotlight and Dashboard! Try Beagle on Linux.
Naresh: Your calendar entries probably were imported into a calendar other than your primary calendar. The plugin currently does not support multiple calendars. :-(

I imported the calendar from another application (extension of Firefox:
Reminderfox), It saves data as “.ics” file. Import was successful, but
i cannot see the entries in my google calendar though it highlights the
dates and popups the entries in google gadgets.
How shall i address the problem.

Congratulations Manas on one more feather in your cap! Am waiting for Google Desktop to release its Linux Version :). When are you going to work for that? I think now you should work on Google Talk’s linux and mac version :).

I was just trying both your original version and the new google version. Both seem to have the same issues. They both initially didn’t display any of the events.
Finally added an event through the new google version and it showed up on the list and also on Google Calendar. But still nothing on your original one.
Also Google’s new version only shows only events from one calendar and not all, I wonder if thats how its suppose to work.
